The Union of Black Episcopalians (UBE) stands in the continuing tradition of more than 200 years of Black leadership in the Episcopal Church. [ www.ube.org ]

UBE is a confederation of more than 55 chapters and interest groups throughout the continental United States and the Caribbean. The Union also has members in Canada, Africa and Latin America.

The Youth of UBE are the present and the future of the organization. Our young people will determine the course of this organization.

This site is a place for UBE-Youth to touch base with each other throughout the year and is the primary place for contact with Youth throughout the African Diaspora.

UBE National Conference

The UBE National Conference should be an opportunity for Episcopal Youth of African descent to celebrate and explore their faith in a loving and supportive environment. They should learn new things about the Episcopal church, strengthen their understanding of the things that they already know, and solidify the foundation of their spirituality. Hopefully, all of this will encourage them to remain connected with the Church throughout their college years and into young adulthood. They should also see/learn that it is possible to have fun inside the Episcopal church. Everything isn't just adults deciding what will happen -- they will have some down time and have time to learn about African Americans in general.

This site will assist with planning for the Youth component of the National Conference.
